Owner and designer Daniel Faull has over a decade of experience crafting beautiful, bespoke furniture. His journey began with his sister company, The Box Furniture, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for creating high-quality, handcrafted pieces.

With a vision to bring exceptional rustic industrial furniture to a wider audience at affordable prices, Dan set out to create a brand that people would not only admire but also adore.

Driven by this ambition, Dan sought to establish a local brand that reflected his commitment to quality craftsmanship and distinctive design. The goal was simple: to offer unique, handmade furniture that combined industrial aesthetics with rustic charm—all without breaking the bank.

In 2019, Daniel took a bold step to expand his vision further by purchasing an old washing machine repair shop. What started as a humble building has since transformed into a vibrant community hub. Over several years, Daniel and his team poured their efforts into renovating the space, creating a welcoming venue that offers much more than just furniture.

A lucky twist of fate gave his new venture its identity. One day, while exploring the area known as "The Bollom's," Dan adopted a weathered statue known as the Mumbles Pier Monkey (also known as Norman and/or Nancy). This find sparked an idea, and Dan realised he had found the perfect mascot for his brand.

The Chunk Monkey, as it became affectionately known, was in rough shape when Dan first discovered it. However, his dedication extended beyond furniture-making. He spent several months carefully restoring the statue, ensuring it was strong enough to withstand the elements.

Today, Chunk proudly perches atop the roof of the physical shop in Sandfields, Swansea, serving as a beloved symbol of the brand’s playful spirit and resilience. Dan's commitment to excellence is reflected not only in his furniture but also in the extensive research and development he undertakes to deliver a diverse range of products.
