Rustic Industrial Reclaimed Chunk Shelf (Timber Only)

Our Reclaimed Chunk wooden shelves are constructed from premium reclaimed scaffolding boards and are approximately 220mm wide. We recommend purchasing:

2 brackets for shelves ranging from 1ft - 4ft.
3 brackets for shelves ranging from 5ft - 8ft.

All our furniture is hand made in our Swansea workshop so if you require a specific length, select the larger option and write the specific length in the product notes box. For example, if you require a 1920mm shelf select the option 2100mm and add the requirement of 1920mm in the product notes.
We do not charge extra for this bespoke cutting service but please be aware how it affects our returns policy on bespoke items.

Once sanded and oiled the true beauty and character of the wood shines through. The metal brackets are folded and welded in our Swansea workshop. We only use quality 8mm steel, much thicker than foreign imports. The steel is wire brushed and then coated with a durable clear lacquer to prevent rusting.

Unlike foreign imports all our furniture is completely handmade in South Wales, UK using locally sourced materials. We strongly believe in supporting local and use local suppliers wherever possible.

Our rustic timbers are sealed with commercial grade furniture oil. Do not use strong multi-surface spray cleaners on the wine racks as this may damage the finish simply Wipe with warm water

Each wood shelf is unique this does mean that the colour and overall finish will vary from post to post and may differ from that shown in the photos. The rustic timbers can have cracks/splits/shakes, dents and dings,. All these characteristics are what set solid wood boards apart from laminated imitations. Our rustic shelves are dried and planed square but may have a small amount of twist, cupping or bowing and may move a little whilst they acclimatise to their new environment.

When staining timber shelves it’s important to be aware that every board may stain slightly lighter or darker and the colour may vary depending on your screen contrast and brightness. However, we have done our best to display our stains in the photographs.

All our rustic shelves require a small degree of assembly. Please note, this listing is just for the timber and shelving brackets are not included.

It is essential that the brackets you are using for the timber are securely fixed into the wall by a competent person using the correct fixings for the wall structure.
