Reclaimed Copper Dining Table with Stainless Steel Legs

Introducing the one of a kind Reclaimed Copper Dining table by The BOX Furniture and Chunk Monkeys owner/designer Daniel Faull.
This stunning Dining Table measures 1820x900mm, is made from 4 reclaimed copper water tanks which are cleaned, rolled out and carefully hand seamed into one large sheet. This is then folded over a wooden form, the corners are brazed and then undergoes a complicated patina process to create the depth of colour and patterns seen. The copper top is then sealed and given 5 coats of premium lacquer to protect the patina. 
The 100x50mm Stainless Steel legs are also brazed given golden weld. they are hand brushed and gives the table a stylish, modern look. These legs can be changed to an alternative if so desired. Please contact us for more information.

The copper is Lacquered with premium Automotive lacquer giving it similar protective properties of a car door. Like any lacquered finish its important to use place mats and coasters wherever possible to reduce the likelihood of scratching.
In the unlikely scenario where the surface is scratched deep enough to hit the copper, moisture can enter the scratch and can cause the lacquer to blister. This along with scratches and general wear and tear is not covered by our lifetime structural guarantee.
