Reclaimed (~38mm)

Our reclaimed boards hold the true character of their past life - expect visible grain, knots, and natural imperfections. These features give reclaimed wood its unmistakable rustic charm and individuality.

Extra Chunky (~40mm)

Our Extra Chunky boards are planed smooth and sealed with a commercial-grade furniture oil to enhance the grain and protect against daily wear. This finish gives a clean, refined look while retaining the warmth of solid timber.

Extremely Chunky (~70mm)

The thickest of our ranges, Extremely Chunky boards are planed all round to reduce twisting and cupping over time. The extra depth creates a bold, premium statement piece built for a lifetime of use.

Installing your shelves is straightforward but does require a few basic tools and someone competent with DIY.

You’ll need an electric drill, ruler or tape measure, and ideally a spirit level to ensure your shelves are fitted straight and secure.

We strongly recommend using the fixings provided — suitable screws and red wall plugs — as they’ve been selected for reliable installation in most standard wall types.

Please make sure your wall is capable of supporting the shelf and its intended load before installation.

All of our furniture is finished with a durable two-stage protection system — commercial-grade hardwax oil followed by Fiddes Supreme Wax — designed to protect the timber and enhance its natural grain and colour.

To keep your furniture looking its best:

• Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
• Avoid harsh cleaners, silicone sprays or multi-surface polishes, as these can damage the protective finish.
• Keep furniture away from direct heat sources such as radiators or stoves, and avoid prolonged exposure to strong sunlight, which can cause natural fading.
• For reclaimed timber, light re-waxing once or twice a year will help maintain its rich tone and water resistance.

Please note that solid wood naturally moves as it acclimatises to your home environment. Small movement marks or hairline cracks may appear over time — this is completely normal and part of the material’s authentic character.

Delivery

We deliver to all UK mainland addresses. Delivery times are estimates — stock items usually leave sooner, while made-to-order shelves may take a little longer depending on workload and finish.

Your shelves and brackets will be individually wrapped to ensure safe arrival but will be sent together in one parcel wherever possible. Larger shelving units or multi-shelf sets may arrive in separate parcels due to size and weight, but we’ll always dispatch them together.

All deliveries are kerbside and require a signature on arrival. You’re responsible for moving items into your property and installing them safely.

Stock items are usually dispatched within 7 days; made-to-order pieces may take longer (delivery times are estimates only).

Returns

You may return items within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided they are unused and in their original condition and packaging.

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving returned goods.

Custom-made or personalised items — including shelves made to specific sizes or finishes — are non-returnable unless faulty.

Please note that reclaimed timber may feature cracks, splits, dents, paint marks or branding — these are natural characteristics, not defects.
