Introducing the signature Copper Dining table by The BOX Furniture and Chunk Monkeys owner/designer Daniel Faull.
This stunning Dining Table measures a maximum of 1850x940mm, is made from one large copper sheet which folded over a wooden form. The standard width is 940mm wide although we can do a width narrower than this if required. The corners are soldered and then the copper undergoes a complicated two stage patina process to create the depth of colour and patterns seen. The copper top is then sealed and given 5 coats of premium automotive lacquer to protect the patina.
The Patina is unique to every table and van vary in shape and patination. The patina develops over time under the lacquer going from black in colour to a bright green. We can also make the copper tables with just the first stage of the patina process which removes the bright green areas.
You have the option of either our Chunk One or Chunk Two legs which are consistent throughout the chunk monkey ranges. The 50x50mm mild Steel legs are welded in our Swansea workshop. They are hand brushed and given a two coats of clear lacquer to protect against rusting. These legs can be changed to an alternative at an additional cost if so desired. Please contact us for more information.

Care & Maintenance
Care & Maintenance
Simply wipe your shelves with warm water and a soft cloth, cleaning up any spills as soon as they occur.
Avoid using harsh multi-surface cleaners or sprays, as these can damage the protective layer and dull the finish.
To keep the wood nourished and looking its best, apply a light coat of furniture oil every few months. This helps maintain the timber’s natural lustre and reinforces its long-term protection.

Delivery & Returns
Delivery & Returns
Delivery
We deliver to all UK mainland addresses. Delivery times are estimates — stock items usually leave sooner, while made-to-order shelves may take a little longer depending on workload and finish.
Your shelves and brackets will be individually wrapped to ensure safe arrival but will be sent together in one parcel wherever possible. Larger shelving units or multi-shelf sets may arrive in separate parcels due to size and weight, but we’ll always dispatch them together.
All deliveries are kerbside and require a signature on arrival. You’re responsible for moving items into your property and installing them safely.
Stock items are usually dispatched within 7 days; made-to-order pieces may take longer (delivery times are estimates only).
For locations outside the UK mainland, please contact us for a custom delivery quote.
Returns
You may return items within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided they are unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving returned goods.
Custom-made or personalised items — including shelves made to specific sizes or finishes — are non-returnable unless faulty.
Please note that reclaimed timber may feature cracks, splits, dents, paint marks or branding — these are natural characteristics, not defects.
