Every January, the same thing happens... prices quietly go up in November and December, only to be “slashed” in the New Year.

Big discounts, countdown timers and a lot of noise that looks good on the surface but doesn’t really add up.

Chunk Monkey is not doing that. Instead, we’re running a January Price Freeze.

What that actually means?

All our prices are locked for January. No temporary sales. No inflated prices followed by discounts. No sudden increases halfway through the month. If you order in January either online or in our Swansea showroom, the price you see is the price you pay.

Why a price freeze, not a sale?

Simple answer: our prices are already tight. We make our furniture by hand, here in the UK, using steel and solid C24 pine or reclaimed timber. Those material costs don’t magically drop in January. If anything, steel, timber and labour have been rising for a while.

Rather than playing the usual game of raising prices so we can discount them later, we’d rather be straight about it. A price freeze allows us to:

• Keep pricing fair and consistent.
• Protect customers ordering now from sudden increases.
• Avoid the fake urgency that comes with January sales.
• It’s not flashy, but it’s honest.

What hasn’t changed?

Nothing else. Same designs. Same build quality. Same materials. Same workshop, same people, same process.  And most importantly, same promises!

Prices are frozen for January. That’s it. After that, pricing will reflect material and production costs as they stand at the time. No dramatic announcements, no “last chance” emails.
